Carlos & Carlos opened in 1985 as a partnership between brothers Carlos and Eddy Montiel. This French-Italian bistro offers a selection of elegant French and Italian cuisine in a setting with limited indoor seating and a cozy outdoor space in the heart of Downtown Arlington Heights. It accepts reservations for dining, offers catering services, and has a Chef’s Table experience that includes a special gourmet menu.

One of the notable features of Carlos & Carlos is it makes fresh pasta in-house, and the dinner menu includes a selection of pasta dishes and beef, chicken, fish, and veal entrees. If you’re hungry for pasta, consider the signature Black Pasta, which is a black angel hair pasta served with sauteed shrimp and scallops, bell peppers, and mushrooms in a champagne cream lobster reduction sauce. Another signature dish to consider is the Veal Carlos, which combines veal medallions with porcini and regular mushrooms and serves it in a champagne cream reduction sauce.
